Walmart has employed more than 2 million people in 15 countries. Its associates generally prefer to receive their pay through direct deposit or by a paper check. It has a separate website to manage health benefits, pay and schedule of employees. They can save their time as they can cash their check immediately. Following are the instruction to Sign Up for Direct Deposit.

Instruction to Sign Up for Direct Deposit at Wal-Mart:

1. They offer free registration for an account. You should go to the official website and register yourself for free. To create an account, you have to fill Social Security number, date of hire and personal e-mail address in the form. Date of hire can be taken from the personnel department at your store.
2. Log in to your account after creating an account by entering a user name and password on the main page of the site. Click on “My Money” option from the upper tab and select “Payroll”.
3. From provided options, select “direct Deposit” and click on “Sign up for Direct Deposit” link.
4. Add your bank name and address in specified boxes. If you are not aware of address of the bank, contact your bank and ask for an address.
5. Provide routing number (it is nine -digit unique number which is assigned to financial institutions for identification) and account numbers in given space. You can get the account number from your bank statements. An account number is also located on the check at the bottom side. The routing number is on the far left side followed by the account number.
6. For any bank details, you can contact/call the bank and get details.
7. Submit the details by clicking on “Submit” button. To make any changes, click on “Back” button, apply changes and submit it. Before submitting, it is necessary to check thoroughly.   
8. Accept all “Terms and Conditions” by clicking on “Submit” button. Remember or note down expected date of your direct deposit.
